Every year, one thing you can count on is that web advertising will continue to grow.

As print ads continue to decline, the money in web advertising seems to go up and up.

According to MarketingPilgrim.com, Internet advertising boasted 16.9% growth in 2014 and is expected to grow by 15% for the next two years. It is without a doubt the fastest growing type of advertising.

The reasons for this continued growth are simple.

Each year people are spending more time on the Internet.

More people are relying on the Internet for news, entertainment, and product information every day.

Smart phones have made this even more exaggerated, as people can literally spend their entire day on the Internet now.

No other medium in advertising has this type of audience, and that’s why ad dollars continue to move towards digital.

Are You Taking Advantage?

Everyone is getting in on Internet advertising. If you are one of the few companies that has neglected this area, it is time to get involved.

Radio ads, though posting slight growth, will never be the main source of advertising for most companies.

To put it simply, people are using their phones more often and for longer periods of time. They are also becoming more reliant on their phones for getting information.

This is why it’s growing six times faster compared to desktop advertising. Mobile is expected to grow at 39% a year for the next three years.

To be honest, ad agencies are still figuring out the best way to take advantage of the mobile space, but this is the time to get involved because you can make a name for yourself in mobile advertising while it’s still completely wide open.
