The Dictionary.com definition of change is to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone. By that definition (and any other) the Internet changes every single day. Whether it's Google's Doodle or their search engine algorithm, nothing the company does is stagnant. By the same token, if you hope to have any success marketing your products and services in the digital space, you better not take the 'set and forget' approach.
Another notion of change is that people and relationships must adapt together or risk severing their connections. There's no doubt that consumers are changing the way they go about researching and buying products and services (and even the B2B world has evolved). The very meaning of the word 'change' insists that the businesses who are fastest at reacting to the shift in consumer behaviour will have the most success, while any businesses that refuse to change will be left behind.
As the calendar turns to 2015, many businesses must look inward and ask themselves: have we made enough of an effort to change with the times? How do our customers perceive us? Are we operating in the digital arena of 2015 or are we stuck in a rut, still doing the same things we did in 2009? The scary part about change is that nobody can force you or your business to change - it has to be a conscious decision and it takes a concerted effort. So, is your business prepared for digital marketing in 2015?
If you aren't sure, you're in luck.
